I don't know why this place has so many good reviews and such a high rating. It's absolutely terrible! My room looked like a prison cell (but, I must admit, in a good and relatively clean jail). Shower? I had to take it sitting on a toilet seat! I'm not kidding! Amenities? There's no such thing? No cups, no plates, no spoons, no forks. There's an electric kettle though. But how am I supposed to drink coffee or tea? Right from the kettle? And there's a microwave oven as well. But as far as there are no plates... And when I thought it couldn't be any worse I found out that when you leave all the electricity in the room turns off. "Great"! No soundproof. So you'll hear all your neighbors stories and know how often they go to the toilet (the same they will know about you). If this place cost twice as less, then it'd be ok. But for that price or even lower you can find a hotel with larger rooms, more amenities, a better location, and even a swimming pool on a rooftop. I just wanted to try a new place and was tricked by good reviews. The only good point is superfast wifi internet. Don't buy that good rating. Find another place to stay. It's not "home" at all? Or it is, but only for the homeless

It is my first time in Thailand. Got my flight from Paris to BKK and my jetlag is the worst. Spent 5 nights here. It is a jem for me! PROs *location is perfect. Nearest exit from BTS Ratchathewi is Exit 1. If you have luggage, use Exit 3 to use the lift going down. *wifi is fast! Had multiple gadgets and all working well *Sonny, the manager is so accommodating to all my questions. :) *housemaids helped me lift my luggage (I stayed in Bldg B) *Has communal laundry machine and dryer, kitchen utensils. Flat iron. Weighing scale. *room has own refrigerator and microwave,hair dryer, drying rack, extension wires with adapters, Toiletries *BIDET!!! CONs *I think the back of the bldg has a school nearby. I can hear the kids singing, chanting. If you are a light sleeper this is a con. I have jetlag so I was a bit annoyed as I wake up at around 12 or 1 pm. But if you won’t stay in the apartment during the day, then it is okay. *No lift so if you live upstairs then it will be difficult *No exhaust in the toilet Multiple restaurants, 7-11, pharmacies, massage, coffee shops Personally this is really a very homey place. It suits my needs. :)

Very accessible to Ratchathewi station, Siam Station and MBK. There is a long strip of affordable street foods and marketplace (even barbershops and locksmith) nearby if you are looking for cheap food items if travelling on a budget. The room that we stayed in is in 3rd floor though, so if you’re travelling with a heavy luggages, consider asking the landlord with a room in GF or 2F.

The location is great, Ratchathewi Station is just a few meters away and large shopping malls (MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Center...) are within walking distance. The place is quiet with no noise from the street or other rooms, but the room itself is quite noisy - the air conditioning and the water pipes. Also, there is an uncomfortable sound from the drain, like something inside is moving and biting. I'm paranoid about insects, so maybe it's just overthinking, but one evening there was a cockroach in the bathroom and that kind of freaked me out. The next morning, the room service lady cleaned and sprayed the room and the bathroom, but I was still scared and always kept the light on. It helped, I didn't find any afterward. Also, there are holes around the window which is another great way for insects to get inside the room... There were some flies and mosquitos when I came but I used a spray against them a few times a day and none showed in the room again. Besides this, it was good. There were a laundry room and a kitchen as well. However, I didn't use them. And there was no elevator so I had to walk 4 floors by stairs every time (which was not a problem until I had to carry baggage). Overall, I would say it was okay for that price but I would not stay there again because of my fear of insects.

For the price you pay for this place, it's all so worth it. You can't get any more central than this and even more so, just a few minutes walk away from BTS Ratchathewi station. You can go shopping at Paragon, MBK and whatnot and just offload all your goods here before going back in again for round 2. It's really that close. When I first checked in I inspected the surroundings - it was clean, but there were some cobwebs in the corners of the room. The toilet also had webs above the door. The toilet doorway is small, as a tall guy I had to mind my head. After a few days of showers your hairs will start to clog up the drainage area, which will cause the toilet floor to flood a little. A little pet peeve but not that bad. Communal kitchen and laundry area. You can cook but the host requires you to clean up. Washing machine costs 50 baht per cycle, the dryer costs 50 baht per cycle for a normal load, 70 baht for a heavy load. Both machines accept only 10 baht coins. I had slight troubles with both of the machines as the coins sometimes wouldn’t register when inserted so you’ll have to knock some magic into them, but not too hard! Location is undoubtedly awesome. Cleanliness was okay. Housemaid was also helpful and polite. The only (and really!) bad point I can think of is that the walls are fake and hollow, so if you have noisy neighbours like a family next door chances are you won't be able to sleep well at all with all of that knocking on the walls. You have to get earplugs or some earmuffs to soundproof yourself. Took off 1 star because of this. If you are an avid shopper and are staying in Bangkok for a few days as a small group, this place is perfect. For longer stays I would recommend somewhere else for more privacy and quality of sleep.
